Thus he recorded the highest appreciation to the citizens of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) who are willing to put aside their own interests as well as their families, to ensure the safety of the people is given priority throughout this festive season.

He said that the services and sacrifices of PDRM officers in ensuring traffic conditions are running smoothly and abandoned homes are kept awake from any unwanted incidents, are greatly appreciated.

"This is clear, it shows the high commitment of PDRM citizens in carrying out the given mandate and responsibilities.

"Beyond that, the wisdom of the PDRM leadership line in carefully organizing the assignment strategy and duty shift throughout this festive season should also be commended," he said in a special message in conjunction with the closing of Op Lancar and Op Selamat Campaign today.
