NIBONG TEBAL, July 19 - Police are tracking down several members of a Vietnamese gang with three of them arrested on Tuesday after they were believed to be involved in a factory break-in in Seberang Perai Selatan (SPS).

SPS district police chief, Supt Shafien Mamat said the gang's several members managed to escape when their three friends were arrested.

The trio, aged 21 to 28, was also believed to be involved in at least six robberies around SPS over the past two months.

They were also tested positive for syabu and are being remanded for 14 days under Section 457 of the Penal Code to assist in the police investigation.

The three were arrested when they were climbing on the roof of a factory in Taman Bukit Pancor, near here, at 6.30 am.
