Kota Kinabalu - The construction of two more temporary detention centres (TDCs) in the Eastern Sabah Security Zone (Esszone) can help stem the influx of illegal immigrants in the state, Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) chief executive officer Ruji Ubi said. 

"Esscom needs this facilities to intensify integrated operations against illegal immigrants in the Esszone," he said in a statement here yesterday.
