Eye In The Sky is a partnership between Star Media Radio Group (SMRG) and the PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) Air Wing Unit to provide road users a bird's-eye view report of the traffic situation, complete with tips on alternate routes to avoid the traffic.
Launched last week at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre by the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, the Eye In The Sky team comprises a representative from SMRG and five representatives from Bukit Aman PDRM and PDRM's Air Wing Unit.
Armed with a headset, radio and microphone, SMRG's traffic team head Priscilla Patrick will be giving live reports three times a week from the sky, about every 20 minutes during morning and evening rush hours.
The team will also share videos and photos on Suria FM and 988's Twitter accounts (@SuriaFMMalaysia and @988).
Traffic info is also shared on The Star newspaper, The Star Online, mStar and The Star TV.
