Kuching, 9 Jun 2022 - Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara (Timbalan KPN), DIG Tan Sri Razarudin Husain hari ini menghadiri Seminar Program Perlindungan Saksi Tahun 2022 yang berlangsung di Dewan Colosseum 1, Hotel Pullman, di sini.

Seminar yang menghimpunkan pakar-pakar perundangan dan penguatkuasa dalam negara itu dirasmikan oleh Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM) (Parlimen dan Undang-Undang), Dato' Sri Hj. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar.

Pada seminar sehari yang bermula jam 9 pagi tadi, sebanyak tiga kertas kerja telah dibentangkan dengan menyentuh aspek keadilan jenayah di Malaysia, program perlindungan saksi dan perlindungan keselamatan saksi.

Menerusi seminar tersebut juga, para peserta ditaklimatkan tentang fungsi dan peranan yang lebih jelas Bahagian Perlindungan JPM serta Akta Perlindungan Saksi 2009 dalam mendepani cabaran jenayah global masa kini.

Hadir sama Ketua Pengarah Bahagian Perlindungan JPM, Tuan Khairul Anwar Zakaria @ Abdul Hamid, Ketua Pengarah Bahagian Hal Ehwal Undang-undang JPM, Datuk Abd Shukor Mahmood dan Pesuruhjaya Polis Sarawak, CP Dato' Mohd Azman Ahmad Sapari.
