Kuantan, 19 Mei 2024 - Pengarah Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri & Ketenteraman Awam (KDNKA), CP Dato' Sri Mohd Kamarudin Md Din melancarkan naskah ulung Briged Tenggara bertajuk "Sejarah Penubuhan Briged Tenggara Pasukan Gerakan Am" bersama lagu rasmi mereka, "Briged Tenggara Cemerlang" dalam sebuah majlis di Dewan Kelisa, Briged Tenggara di sini semalam.

Turut berlangsung dalam majlis sama ialah pertemuan semula (reunion) para pesara pegawai dan anggota yang pernah berkhidmat dalam Briged Tenggara Pasukan Polis Hutan (PPH) serta Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA).

Majlis dimulakan sejurus ketibaan Dato' Sri Mohd Kamarudin bersama isteri merangkap Pengerusi Persatuan Keluarga Polis (PERKEP) Jabatan KDNKA, Datin Sri Johariah Urib Mohd Ariffin yang disambut mesra Komander Briged Tenggara, SAC Sheik Azhar Sheik Omar dan isteri, merangkap Pengerusi PERKEP Briged Tenggara, Puan Maznah Husain.

Majlis dirancakkan dengan pelbagai aktiviti termasuk sesi temu bual bersama barisan panel jemputan yang berkongsi kisah dan pengalaman mereka sepanjang berkhidmat dalam PPH dan PGA suatu ketika dahulu.

Dato' Sri Kamarudin turut berbesar hati menyampaikan sumbangan berupa pek 'Rezeki Ummat' dan kerusi roda daripada Syarikat Sri Kota Supply & Services kepada warga Briged Tenggara dan para pesara melalui MyFundAction.

Hadir sama, Naib Pengerusi Retired Senior Police Officer’s Association of Malaysia (RESPA), Dato' Setia Hj. Mohd Isa Mohd Salleh, para pegawai dan anggota Jabatan KDNKA serta ahli PERKEP.
