Taiping, April 23rd - Police have busted two gangs involved in robbery, snatch theft, house burglary and vehicle battery theft cases with the arrest of six men in Perak and Penang. 

Taiping District Police Chief, Asst. Comm Mohamad Taib said the breakthrough came with the arrest of two men from the 'Sian Ragu' gang in Kampung Tepi Sungai, Tasek Gelugor in Penang atb12.50am on March 15. 

"Following the arrest, police picked up a man at 1130pm on April 13 here and another man in Taman Kamunting at 1.30am two days later," he told a press conference at the Taiping District Police Headquarters yesterday.

ACP Mohamad said, investigations revealed the group, led by 40-years old man, was involved in armed robberies and targeted victims at homes or offices.
