Operasi pembersihan pasca banjir diteruskan oleh sepasukan pegawai dan anggota polis dari Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Mersing melibatkan Kampung Orang Asli Peta, Mersing, Johor yang terjejas teruk ketika banjir tempoh hari.

Operasi pembersihan tersebut juga melibatkan bantuan dari agensi-agensi kerajaan daerah Mersing dan pasukan sahabat seperti Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dan Bahagian Udara Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia yang melibatkan penggunaan aset jenis helikopter.
