Johor Police To Beef Up Operations At Public Areas
Johor police will beef up operations at public and sensitive areas, especially at the two land entry points at the Causeway and the Second Link crossing in Gelang Patah during the festive season, says CPO Comm Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd.
The move comes after Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar ordered his men to step up safety measures at several sensitive and public places during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
"I have given specific orders to all department chiefs and district chiefs to take proactive measures to make sure there will not be any untoward incidents during the festive season. "More police personnel will be deployed to patrol shopping complexes, places of interest and all entry points in the state," said Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Najmuddin.
