Kota Tinggi: A 24-year-old jobless man was charged in a magistrate's court here for physically abusing his girlfriend's five-year-old son, which resulted in the child's death.
Mohd Hazwan Karim, 24, allegedly committed the offence at a driving service centre along Jalan Mangga 2 in Taman Kota Jaya here between 2am and 2.30am on Sept 3 last year.
He had allegedly slapped Muhammad Danial Asyraff Abdullah several times before the child hit his head on the floor, resulting in his death.
