The Negeri Sembilan Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department detained eight members of secret societies at several locations in Rembau, Seremban on Tuesday for suspected involvement in trafficking of syabu and heroin.

The men, aged between 24 and 32, were members of Gang 36 Gang 08 and Gang 04 and all of them have criminal records.

This case classified under Section 3(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act (Special Preventive Measures) 1985.

Police arrested 22 members of secret societies who were allegedly involved in drug trafficking and seized drugs worth RM368,000 from January until last Tuesday.
