Ipoh - Four teenagers are being investigated in connection with the murder of the 52-year-old wife of a police sergeant who was found dead at her Taman Tanjung Emas home in Tanjung Rambutan here. 

Perak police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Osman Salleh said the police were recording statements from the four, aged between 15 and 19, after picking them up from a nearby housing area and in Bercham between 6am and 8.30am yesterday. 

"They know each other and one of them lives on the same street as the woman. 

''One is still a student and another a lorry attendant while the other two are unemployed," he told reporters here. 

"All four tested negative for drugs." he said, adding that remand orders for the youths were expected to be obtained in court today to facilitate investigations.
