SHAH ALAM, 15 May 2024 - A predator can groom a child for sex in just one hour, says the Bukit Aman Crime Investigation Department Sexual, Women and Children Crime Investigation Division (D11).
Assistant Director of Bukit Aman Sexual, Women and Child Investigations Division (D11), ACP Siti Kamsiah Hassan, said predators use social media to get to know children and groom them.
Police Chief of Selangor, CP Dato’ Hussein Omar Khan, and his deputy, DCP Dato' Sasikala Devi Subramaniam, also attended the event.
ACP Siti Kamsiah said the use of the internet and telecommunications devices also makes such cases more likely.
