I salute Deputy Inspector General of Police, Dato' Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay for his stern warning recently to politicians who persist in playinng up the 3R (Religion, Race and Royalty) issues.

It was scary when certain political leaders exploited the 3R issues during the run up to the 15th General Election and the recently concluded elections for the six states.

It is also heartening that he paid tribute to police personnel of all races who fought the communist terrorists during the Emergency to defend the sovereignty of our country. - Datuk Wee Beng Gee, Petaling Jaya
