There has been a dramatic increase in the volume and frequency of cyberattacks in Malaysia, says the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The attacks are not only perpetrated by profit-motivated cybercriminals, but also by rogue nation-state actors who are trying to obtain both economic and strategic advantage without considering the amount of damage that their actions will cause.
