Kuching, 5th October 2024 - A comprehensive training for auxiliary police (AP) offcers is vital to enhance their level of professionalism and competence, said Commandant of Police Training Centre (PULAPOL) Kuching, SAC Zulfikar Tan Sri Mohd Ghazali.
"The role of the auxiliary police in ensuring public safety and order is crucial, especially with the increasingly complex security challenges.
"You (AP) are not only responsible for maintaining security at your assigned premises but also serve as the frontline in safeguarding the broader community's peace,” he said.
SAC Zulfikar said this in his speech at the AP Basic Training Course Series 5/2024 passing out parade at PULAPOL Kuching, Jalan Puncak Borneo yesterday.
The event celebrated a total of 212 AP officers - 194 men and 18 women from 18 agencies who completed the two-month course that began in August.
