Putrajaya, 15th December 2019 - The proposal to set up the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commision (IPCMC) has been met with reservations by the force.

This was reflected in a letter by Inspector-General of Police, IG Tan Sri Dato' Sri Abdul Hamid Bador dated Nov 20, on the force's feedback to the parliamentary Select Committee tasked with reviewing the IPCMC Bill.
