Throughout his distinguished tenure, he has held numerous significant roles, including Police Attaché at the Malaysian Embassy in London (2018), Head of the Pahang Special Branch (2021), Principal Assistant Director E2 of the Special Branch at Bukit Aman (2022), Deputy Director of the Special Branch at Bukit Aman (2023), and Director of the Special Branch at Bukit Aman (2025).
In recognition of his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the force, the Government appointed him as the Inspector General of Police on 23 June 2025, following the retirement of Tan Sri Razarudin bin Husain.
His contributions to the Force and the nation have been recognised through numerous awards, including the Loyal Service Medal (P.P.S.) and the General Service Medal (P.P.A.), the Panglima Setia Pasukan Polis (P.S.P.P.) and the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (D.I.M.P.) in 2018, the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (P.J.P.N.) and the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Installation Medal in 2019, the Panglima Gagah Pasukan Polis (P.G.P.P.) and the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah (S.S.A.P.) in 2023, the Dato’ Pahlawan Taming Sari (D.P.T.S.) and the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Installation Medal in 2024, the Dato’ Seri Panglima Taming Sari (S.P.T.S.) and the Singapore Pingat Jasa Gemilang (P.J.G.) in 2025, and the Panglima Mangku Negara (P.M.N.), the Dato’ Seri Setia Pahlawan Negeri Kedah (S.S.P.K.), the Darjah Seri Paduka Mahkota Perlis (S.P.M.P.) and the Seri Panglima Darjah Kinabalu (S.P.D.K.) in 2026.
