The Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) was officially established on March 25, 2016, in conjunction with the 209th Police Day Celebration. It stands as a crucial pillar within the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), dedicated to ensuring the safety, compliance, and smooth operation of the nation's roadways.Core Objectives JSPT was founded with the primary objective of becoming the leading department in traffic management. At the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters level, the department is led by a Senior Police Officer holding the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC), who serves as the Director of JSPT. The Department of Internal Security and Public Order (KDNKA) is a key division within the Royal Malaysia Police responsible for maintaining internal security and public order in Malaysia.
