The Logistics and Technology Department is a strategic division within the Royal Malaysia Police responsible for providing logistical, technical, and infrastructure support to ensure efficient policing operations. The department ensures that equipment, facilities, and technology systems are maintained at optimal readiness.The department is headed by a Director with the rank of Commissioner of Police (CP) and supported by a Chief Secretariat Officer (Technology Analysis and Development) at the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC), who oversees planning, coordination, and evaluation of technology needs and procurement strategies.The department is further supported by three Deputy Directors: Deputy Director (Technical / Operations) Deputy Director (Finance / Procurement / General Policing) Deputy Director (Facilities / Supply / Assets) VisionTowards a professional, credible, and high-performing organisation.MissionTo provide quality logistics and technological support aligned with current and future policing needs.ObjectiveTo deliver efficient services, equipment, infrastructure, and systems that support PDRM in fulfilling its responsibilities to society and the nation.Core Functions Ensure optimal readiness of technical and operational equipment Strengthen organisational development and governance Manage financial resources efficiently and responsibly Maintain systematic and effective asset management Plan and implement development projects and procurement in compliance with policies Continuously improve through technological and technical analysis Divisions under the Department Secretariat (Technology Analysis & Development) – Coordinates administration and technology planning Telecommunications & Information Systems (TSM) – Manages ICT systems, networks, and cybersecurity Transport Division – Oversees fleet management and maintenance Armament Division – Handles weapons procurement and maintenance Facilities Management – Manages buildings and infrastructure Central Supply Division – Controls inventory and logistics supply Finance Division – Oversees budgeting and expenditure Procurement Division – Handles procurement processes and compliance General Policing Support – Supports operational logistics nationwide Asset Management Division – Maintains asset records and lifecycle management
