i. To reduce the rate of vehicle theft in Malaysia;

ii. To raise public awareness of the threats and modus operandi associated with vehicle theft;

iii. To strengthen strategic cooperation among the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), government agencies, the insurance industry and the private sector;

iv. To identify weaknesses and areas for improvement in efforts to prevent vehicle theft;

v. To enhance information and expertise sharing among stakeholders;

vi. To combat activities involving stolen vehicles, including syndicates, cloned vehicles, and the falsification of vehicle identities or documents; and

vii. To enhance the effectiveness of preventive and enforcement measures through an integrated approach.
