Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP)
The Volunteer Smartphone Patrol, better known as VSP, is a new initiative by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) designed to foster strategic collaboration and cooperation with the local community in crime prevention, effectively acting as the eyes and ears of the police.
VSP is one of the programs under the National Blue Ocean Strategy (NBOS); the PDRM has been appointed by the Government of Malaysia as the implementing agency, while the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) serves as the 'Initiative Owner'.

Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP)
While the public could previously report crimes through the PDRM hotline and SMS services, VSP now allows them to submit complaints or information together with supporting multimedia, including photos, videos, and GPS coordinates indicating the location of an incident.
Download the VSP application for free from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Open the application and tap the Register button.
Enter the required personal information, such as your full name, identification card number, and email address.
Set your residential location.
Receive the verification code (OTP) sent via SMS or email.
Enter the OTP to activate your account, then log in.
